Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Degree Preferred), in social work, sociology, psychology, or other human service field and two years experience working with young adults ages 16 and up. Two years of supervisory experience required. A valid Virginia Drivers License is also required for employment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise all Lead Clinicians, Field Supervisors, Case Managers, and Counselors.
- Monitor all intake services to ensure that client is eligible for services.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining quality assurance in compliance with state Licensure and Medicaid standards.
- Ensure program delivery and compilation of supporting documentation required.
- Provide and coordinate staff development and training.
- Coordinate the development of Individualized Service Plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to clients.
- Utilize positive management techniques to evaluate program and individual employee performance.
- Complete audits to assess client delivery by reviewing records, observation, and client satisfaction. Audits are both announced and unannounced.
- Monitor budgets and approve expenditures.
- Approve all staff requests for leave in accordance with agency policy and procedures. Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of all employees.
- Coordinate with outside agencies.
- Prepare, develop, and implement current and future goals and objectives.

Job Title: Field Supervisor Job Code: In-Home 02
Positions Available: 0
Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or other human service field and one year of experience working in an intensive in-home setting and/or a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field and 4 years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children. A valid Virginia Drivers License and good driving record are requirements for employment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide for the coordination of admission procedures for each client.
- Attend all staff and supervisor meetings and trainings.
- Provide direct on site supervision of in-home counselors.
- Maintain contact with Program Manager on a weekly basis to provide updates on staff assignments or case staffing.
- Maintain compliance with state Licensure and Medicaid standards.
- Supervision of documentation from intensive in-home counselors for quality assurance.

Positions Available:
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in a psychology, social work, sociology, or other human services field and 1 year of experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and/or a bachelor’s degree in a non-related field and four years experience working with similar programs for serious emotionally disturbed children. A valid Virginia Drivers License and good driving record are requirements for employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to referral source and family in need of services within 24 hours of receiving referral.
- Implement individualized service plans with client and parent/guardian.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
- Maintain contact with supervisor and referring agency on a weekly basis to discuss updates, progress, concerns, or provide feedback.
- Implement individualized behavioral modification plans.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of services.
- Complete all required documentation, which includes, but is not limited to tracking of the individualized service plan and related paperwork.

Job Title: Mental Health Counselor (After school Program)

Mental Health Counselors must have one or more of the following credentials: Core curriculum for a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or other related field. Six months experience working with SED children. Appropriate work history with this population will be commensurate with educational requirements. A valid Virginia Drivers License and good driving record are requirements for employment.

- Implement behavior management system.
- Develop and implement daily therapeutic activities under the direct supervision of the lead counselor.
- Implement individualized behavior modification programs.

Job Title: Site Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing, managing & evaluating the services provided.
- Coordination of admission for new clients with Program Mangers & Clinical Supervisors.
- Supervise and assist all lead counselors and all youth counselors.
- Serve as Administrator of daily operations within the school settings.
- Act as Liaison between Richmond Public Schools, CSB social workers, case managers & all other agencies involved on the client’s mental health process.
- Supervise the development & implementation of the individualized behavioral programs.
- Assist the Management team with staff development & training.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Licensure & Medicaid standards.
- Assist in admission process & discharge planning.
- Establish & coordinate standards for outcome evaluations.
- Assist lead counselors with development & implementation of all therapeutic group activities.
